Bodyweight management is very important for a healthy lifestyle. It is a long-term approach which includes different phenomena such as healthy eating, physical activities, calories etc.
Bodyweight management is directly related to calories intake and calories burn. There should be a balance between these two factors.
If you eat more calories than you burn, the surplus calories will store in your body as muscle mass or body fats (depending upon the types of food) which will result in gaining weight.
Adversely if you burn more calories then you consume, then you will lose weight.
So, it is very simple. If you are trying to gain weight and increase muscle mass then you should eat more than you burn. And if you are trying to loss weight you will have to consume fewer calories than you burn.
Develop good habits starting from early morning wake up, eat good food, avoid junk foods, drink plenty of water, have 6 to 8 hours of sleep at night, do exercises, avoid too much alcohol.
